About the Role:
As a Writer at Solace, you will create engaging copy that enhances customer experience and drives retention. This is an exciting opportunity for a self-starter who wants to take ownership of various in-house projects and initiatives.
You will collaborate with marketing, design, and product management teams to support Solace’s products. This role is perfect for those who are ambitious, curious, and open to feedback. You will report directly to our co-founder and Chief Product Officer.
What You’ll Do:
- Bring Ideas to Life: Generate innovative ideas and make them a reality.
- Work Autonomously: Take full ownership of your projects and be accountable for every detail.
- Create Quickly: Write powerful copy efficiently and confidently, overcoming any writing hurdles.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Act as a key contact for cross-functional partners, defining project roadmaps to ensure goals and deadlines are met.
- Keep Everyone Informed: Maintain visibility on current projects, ensuring the right team members are involved at the right times. Document decisions and follow up on commitments.
- Uphold Brand Standards: Learn and protect the Solace brand, ensuring all communications meet our quality standards.
What You Bring to the Table:

- Comfort with Ambiguity: You can navigate chaotic situations and turn them into productive outcomes.
- Creative Mindset: You possess unlimited creativity and intuition for crafting delightful customer experiences that attract and retain users.
- Excellent Communication Skills: You effectively collaborate with various departments to bring ideas to life.
- Experience: You have at least 3 years of relevant experience in consumer startups.
